MeetMyMatch (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps adults 18+ find meaningful connections. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under applicable data protection laws.

By using MeetMyMatch, you agree to this policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Data We Collect

We only collect data we need to run the dating service safely.

We do NOT collect: Government IDs, precise GPS tracking after you close the app, or message content for ads. We do NOT record voice/video calls.

How We Use Your Data

Provide the service: Match you, show profiles, enable chat and calls.

Safety: Verify age, detect bots/scams, enforce our Terms. We use automated checks + human review for reports.

Payments: Flutterwave processes payments. We get last 4 digits + transaction ID, not your full card.

Improve MeetMyMatch: Analytics to see which features help people connect. Only runs if you Accept cookies.

Marketing: We may email you about new features. You can unsubscribe in any email. We never sell your data.

Legal: Comply with legal obligations, court orders, or prevent harm.

Who We Share Data With

We don’t sell your data. We share only to run the service:

All vendors sign Data Processing Agreements and can’t use your data for their own purposes.

International Transfers

Because we use global cloud providers, your data may be transferred internationally. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and other legal safeguards to keep it protected.

How Long We Keep Data

Active accounts: We keep data while you use MeetMyMatch.

After deletion: We delete your profile, photos, and messages within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 90 days.

Legal hold: We keep some logs like transaction IDs and abuse reports for up to 7 years to comply with tax/fraud laws.

Inactive accounts: If you don’t log in for 2 years, we email you then delete the account.

Your Privacy Rights

You can exercise these anytime, free:  

Access: Get a copy of your data. Account > Privacy > Download My Data.  

Correct: Edit your profile or email support@meetmym.com.  

Delete: Account > Settings > Delete Account. This is permanent.  

Object: Turn off Analytics/Ads cookies in Account > Privacy > Cookie Settings.  

Portability: Download My Data gives you a machine-readable file.  

Withdraw Consent: Turn off sensitive data processing by deleting that info from your profile.  

Complain: Contact us first at support@meetmym.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We respond within 30 days.

Age Limit & Children

MeetMyMatch is 18+ only. We use  cookie + date of birth to block minors. If we learn we collected data from someone under 18, we delete it immediately. Report underage users via Report in the app.

Security

We protect your data with: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted databases, limited staff access, 2FA for employees, and regular security audits. Payment pages are handled by Flutterwave under PCI-DSS Level 1. No system is 100% safe, so use a strong password and don’t reuse it.

Cookies

Necessary cookies like , , ,  run to keep you logged in and payments safe.  

Analytics/Ads cookies like , ,  only run if you tap “Accept All” on our banner.  

Manage them anytime: Account > Privacy > Cookie Settings. Full list in our Cookie Policy.

Voice/Video Calls

Calls use your mic/camera only with permission. We route calls through our servers so your phone number stays private. We log call start/end times for safety but do not record audio or video.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we’ll email you and show a banner 14 days before it takes effect. Minor updates will just change the “Last Updated” date above.
